I am so excited that we are able to offer the mini sock bundles! I think they will be wonderful for more than just socks...I plan on some colorwork! The twist sock has a wonderful sheen and just feels lovely while knitting and wearing. The twist gives the fabric texture but doesn't detract from lace or cables. It is also fairly easy to care for. I used it to knit baby gifts for those I believe will wash it properly. The touch of nylon does make it a bit more forgiving in washing. It knits up lovely sweaters for little ones!

These are so fun! I love the color choices that Maya from the Wool Barn uses when putting these together. There's not a single one that I don't absolutely love. They are perfect for making a fun pair of socks, a hat, or combined with other skeins for some colorwork projects. This yarn has a nice shine and brightness to it. I find that it is especially nice to use for garments and shows off lacework beautifully. |
Although it is a superwash merino, The Wool Barn recommends hand washing over machine washing (using a wool cycle). This will keep the knitted fabric from possibly looking "worn".
