This extra fine merino base with 10% cashmere feels incredibly soft and plump. It takes color beautifully and feels wonderfully soft next to skin. A little bit of added nylon provides strength, making it suitable for luxurious shawls, garments, baby knits and even socks.

Yes. This yarn is dyed by hand in small batches. Every skein is unique due to the artisan nature of hand dyeing process. To achieve an even color distribution in larger projects, alternate skeins every couple of rows. |

The Cashmere DK is the lovely heavier version of Cashmere Sock, not as much halo but still luxurious and as expected squishy and soft. It has very nice stitch definition. I have only knit a hat so far but can only imagine how wonderful a sweater would be! I can imagine a cozy wrap cardigan would be heaven! I could absolutely wear this next to my skin. As always Maya's colors are just gorgeous. |
YUUUUUMMYYYY! This yarn is so so soft! The cashmere adds a beautiful drapiness to the knitted fabric. There's also something special about The Wool Barn colors.
