Studio DK is a beautiful 4-ply yarn spun from soft 21.5 micron Merino wool. With so many fun colors and its next-to-skin softness, this yarn would be a great choice for baby and kid projects. It has the benefits of being Superwash without the "superwash treatment" feel. It would work well for any grown-up people projects too! :)
Each color is dyed by hand in small batches. The colors are layered during the dyeing process to create bright, saturated colorways that are to die for!

Studio DK is a combination of soft with body. It creates a really nice fabric that's soft enough to wear right next to your skin and the colors are fabulous. Many of the colors have variation in the color, so it's never flat. We decided to carry it to partner with Pacific Knit Co Doodle Decks, but it also looks great on it's own if you're not a colorwork fan. I think this would be a great yarn for kids projects too! |
This soft yarn is perfect for doodles or colorwork. It's soft but not floppy which is great for all of Jamie Lomax' gorgeous doodle patterns. The colors it comes in are simply fabulous. You could have so much fun playing with color combos for doodles, stripes, or colorwork. Working with such happy and bright colors is such a mood booster. You can't help but feel the joy! |
