This is my first time knitting with a Linen blend because I figured Linen would be scratchy. This Alpaca, Linen, Silk blend has won me over. The soft colors whisper warm weather and the fingering weight is well suited to spring and summer garments as well as shawls almost all year around. It has a lovely sheen, without being shiny and although there is a decent amount of natural vegetation in the fiber the Alpaca and Silk make this soft enough for next to your skin tanks, tees and sweaters. I was also delighted to see the nice stitch definition and how well it holds a lace pattern. Knit on larger needles there is lots of drape, perfect for shawls. I think I have finally found a reason to knit summer tops!
